we no longer service jet skis older than 1996 other than for winterizations, storage, or minor repairs. call for details.

we no longer service jet skis made by tigershark or polaris, however we can refer you to a place that does service them as well as skis older than 1996. call for details.

currently referring during jet ski season all motorcycle and ATV repairs to 2 shops that are very reputable depending on your location and their availability. call for details.
 

No Warranty on:

  • Parts provided by customer--we warranty the labor that they were installed properly.

(when you provide the parts, we don’t know the quality, condition, etc and also don’t stand behind cheap brands, and since they were not purchased here we will not cover them under warranty)

  •  

  • Here at PSJ we prefer to use OEM or upgraded parts only.  We have had issues in the past from cheap manufacturers, or poorly made products, so we are selective on what parts we sell. We also realize that every manufacturer can have issues, including OEM, however its less likely with quality, reputable manufacturers.  For example: we will not use, or sell products from SBT. If you bring their products for us to install it will be advised against and will be at your own risk. We realize this increases the cost of parts and that may be inconvenient, however we have seen the "buy cheap-buy twice" happen too often. Its often cheaper to buy a quality part the first time. 

  •  

  • “Stage 1 plus and higher” or “Performance” Builds

(With any “stage” or “performance” build you are modifying the unit beyond its original capability. As such you are doing so at your own risk, it states the same information on most aftermarket performance websites such as RIVA Racing, Deans Team, TORX, etc, and realistically There is no way for us to control the warmup, care, and riding styles and thus no reason to have a warranty on such extreme builds.) (Stage 1 kits are covered as they don't modify rev limiter or put extreme stress on the engine)

  •  

  • Sunk or “Under-watered” skis

(jet skis that have been sunk have a large possibility of having rust, corrosion, etc as well as a large possibility of catastrophic damage that can be unseen such as blown seals, gaskets, or bent rods, rusty cranks/pistons/valves/cams. In addition, it shortens the lifespan of bearings, and engine components. ONLY WAY TO GET A WARRANTY ON SUNK UNIT IS TO DO COMPLETE TEARDOWN AND INSPECTION)

  •   

  • Rush jobs:

(if for some reason we agree to do a rush job, warranty may be void due to the rush—this is also why I usually don’t do rush jobs—they are at your own risk, and usually cost more as well)

Speaking of rush jobs; we do not rush jobs thru and make sloppy mistakes. We work as fast as possible to give quick and quality service. We understand this may cause an inconvenience and for that we are sorry, however we value our customers, our service, and our reputation.

EXCEPTIONS TO WARRANTIES:

IF EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED THAT WE WILL COVER SOMETHING UNDER WARRANTY THAT FALLS IN THESE "VOIDED" WARRANTY CATAGORIES, IT IS DONE AT PSJ POWERSPORTS LLC OWNERS DISCRESION. 

FURTHERMORE: ABANDONED VEHICLES:

IF YOUR SKI IS HERE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD PAST THE REPAIR BEING FINISHED A STORAGE FEE WILL BE APPLIED--COST WILL VARY DEPENDING ON UNIT.  

IF REPAIR IS DENIED AND UNIT IS HERE LONGER THAN 30 DAYS A STORAGE FEE WILL BE APPLIED--COST WILL VARY DEPENDING ON UNIT.

IF UNIT IS HERE LONGER THAN 3-6 MONTHS WITH NO CONTACT FROM UNIT OWNER, AND WE HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT 6 TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE WE WILL FILE FOR AN ABANDON VEHICHLE TITLE OR A MECHANICS LEAN ON THE VEHICLE.
